New Zealand, the deep south. Early autumn, dark early, beloved baby sleeping peacfully. Big darling husband not home. A few minutes ago I was sitting by the log fire surfing my favorite blogs by lamplight, when I responded to the brief urge to to press the 'create blog' button. Is it noticable that I dont know what I'm doing yet? Ok, I'll start with a daily photo and we'll see where we go.
The little darling daughter...my little dress-up dolly! I'm a bit anti-pink, not a feminist thing, possibly a "your my 'mini-me' and I wouldn't be seen dead in pink" thing, but really it's just a "urgh that offends my eye" thing but really, its how you wear it isn't it?
The little darling has had an amazing week; learned to blow raspberries, crawled today for the first time and can now breastfeed in her ergo front pack whilst I do almost anything else...but not bend over gardening, my appendages are not quite that elastic although she is quite athletic and gave it her best shot.
The little darling also transfered to her 'big-girl' cot where she sleeps soundly right now. I fell asleep with her in bed last night feeding, dangerous, must get cot sides ASAP and switch the duvet for blankets, as well as she sleeps in her cot, I want my little radiator by my side this winter!
You must look at todays post on the sartorialist blog. The milanese old lady doing glitter and looking incredibly, naturally, chic-one my favorites he has ever posted. I'll be down the $2 shop in the morning for my roll on glitter. I love that Italian style, classic, muted, groomed with wee quirks...that may be why i felt compelled to spend a large amount on short Italian boots this week-Progetto, shiny looking, clonky sounding boot perfection puurrrrrrrr. Then the big darling offered to give me the shoe version for my upcoming birthday. What a true darling.
Right, the big darling is due back any minute, best scarper, bon nuit!
