Ahhh. Cute kid, cute book.
What a fantastic present. The godwit is the most amazing bird. It summers in New Zealand before flying the longest migration known amongst birds,11, 680 kms or so, NON STOP, to Alaska to winter! Then back again for Spring! Here their departure, and remarkable journey is celebrated by a send off ceremony at the beach; prayers are even said for their safe passage at the local cathedral!
In short, we love em to bits, and this little book, with beautiful illustrations is already a winner with both mum and bub x

Bummer you can't comment.I was having heaps of trouble,but it's come right after I sorted out "cookies".I had to delete,or enable them or something.I still can't comment from my work computer though,even after doing the same thing there.Weird shit.Technology is a trial!
